Deep-topic seminar series

These multi-session programs work through a single UX subject across several weeks — covering theory, applying it to case studies, and then examining how it performs in real product contexts. Topics have included information architecture, usability testing methodology, and interaction design principles.

Format Live sessions with recorded access
Duration 4 to 8 weeks per series
Group size Up to 20 participants
Level Intermediate and above

Single-session workshops

Standalone two-hour sessions built around one specific aspect of UX work. Past sessions have covered heuristic evaluation, writing UX copy, and presenting design rationale to non-design stakeholders.

Peer discussion groups

Small facilitated groups where participants bring their own design challenges and work through them together. These sessions are not lectures — they depend on participants arriving with something real to discuss.

  • No prior design background is required for entry-level seminars. Each program listing specifies its prerequisite level, so you can choose a session that fits where you currently are rather than where you want to be.
  • All live sessions are recorded and made available to registered participants for a defined period after the seminar concludes. The exact access window is specified in each program's details before registration.
  • It depends on the format. Single-session workshops have structured Q&A periods. Peer discussion groups require active participation by design. Series seminars include both lecture segments and facilitated discussion — attendance without contributing is possible but you will get considerably less from it.
  • A stable internet connection, a modern browser, and a microphone for sessions where participation is required. No specialist software is needed. Connection details and any preparatory materials are sent to registered participants at least 48 hours before the session starts.
  • Yes. Team registrations are handled through direct contact rather than the standard booking flow. Write to support@serverexhub.com with the seminar you are interested in and the number of participants, and we will arrange the details from there.
